rear side boot light not working,so i had a look at the bulb,while i was fiddling with it all interior lights went off,i checked fuse which seems ok,dont know where else to look for fault?please help.

Hi,my cd players cartridge wont eject,cant hear any mechanism noise,was working ok,now not?have checked fuse for audio system which seems ok,i am at a loss?all advice much appreciated.
