Thanks for the help, i,ll remove the linkage from the car. Is it just a case of repsitioning the wipers on the shaft in their home position after reassembly or is it a little more complicated?

Ok thanks, may as well just ask all newbies to trawl through previous posts then, as i'm sure most common faults have been discussed. Kind of pointless having a forum then. Just post a FAQ rather than letting peole post threads. I'm more than happy to read through posts, but when 70% of the thread is non related to its title, kind of makes it hard work!

What is the fault, far too much to read? is it the motor or linkage? easy or difficult fix? Cheers Paul

Tonight i got a smell of burning, the wipers slowed down so i guess there ise a problem with the motor? Any ideas or can someone point me in right direction?
