delboyt Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 all you do is pull off the ht leads then pull the plastic housing offit it hard to pull of but a good tug will do it you will need a long extractor to remove the plugs as they are about 7 ins into the head .get a proper removal kit to remove them the ht leads are a bugger to get off as they are really stuk on dueto the heat better to take to a garage to be doneit cost me Quote
Guest daddycool Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 right, i have just done it. Didnt read your reply before i started it, wish i had now. All i used was a plug socket on an extension bar. All went ok untill the second to last plug. it fell out of the socket and got wedged in the whole. With the aid of a maglite, a mirror, a magnet and my bro in law we managed to get it out and fit it. That rail were the ht leads sit i couldnt get off so i took the black bit off that runs the width of the engine bay that separates the wiper linkage area from the engine to make access easier. I got the plugs from halfords for Quote
