Keys ?

Hi all,

just had my neighbour ( used to work for fords :( ) try to get my tailgate to open using the remote, he pressed the buttons on the fob for couple of seconds and now my remote locking and unlocking wont work on doors or boot , And he had to go out .

Ive used the search - unavailable , and looked through forums but cant find anything to sort it out .

Any ideas?

ps - i have a red key as well .

Unlock drivers door 3 times in 5 seconds, theres a bit of a knack to it, unlock once, count a second, unlock the second time, count a second, unlock third time, LED in door should go Red and stay like that for 15 seconds.

 

When the LED is red press and hold the locking button on the remote, then press the unlocking button 3 times, whilst still holding the locking button, the door LED should flicker for a few seconds to indicate you have synched the code again.

 

There is a bit of an art to it so if you don't get it the first time don't get disheartened.

Red led stays on the door, remote flashes 5 times. Door led doesn't flash to acknowledge. Is it a duff remote?
