Originaly had these Sony Xplods in my old Volvo 855 and have been sat in the shed since so thought it about time to put them in the Gal. Unfortunately, they were about 1 cm smaller than the OE speakers so had to make some MDF adapter rings that sit behind the door cards. MDF is screwed into OE holes in door, then speakers screw into MDF from on top of door card, jobs a good un! Door card removal was a 10 minute job thanks to previous posts on here and not a single damaged yellow connector plug! Sound range improvement is amazing. Bass runs through floor and vibrates your feet on the pedals and can also be felt coming through the seatbelt! Rear speakers next, then HU upgrade, but not till after xmas as Santa usually comes and steals all my money for the next 3 months!! And my glamourous assistant ..... Quote
