chromedome Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Yeah I've converted mine to HID. GSMGuy on this forum sells them. Contact him for a price (very reasonable). Good quality item and works ok with the bulb detection circuit on Ghia models. I recommend you have you headlights readjusted for maximum spread because they are radically different. On the offside headlight the ballast box was mounted underneath the headlight assembly. On the nearside headlight the ballast box was mounted in the battery box area. I only done dipped beam at the moment. Not sure about high beam as the lights take a few seconds to fully illuminate and with switching highbeam on/off may not give them time to warm up. All in all well worth doing. Quote
chromedome Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Forgot to say. Easy enough to do, if I can do it anyone can  Quote
