sasquartch Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 Time for a 60k service soon and as far as I can tell the fuel filter may never have been changed. Is this easy to change ? Where is it located ? Are there any special procedures to bleed the fuel or anything like that after changing it ? Any advice welcomed as I have never done this job before. Quote

Its easy enough, slightly fiddly due to space but easy to actually do. Its In the engine bay, behind and to the left of the engine. No special procedures: 1) Disconnect the piping2) Remove the filter3) Replace the filter4) Reconnect the piping5) Turn ignition on (wait for pump to stop), turn ignition back off6) Repeat step 5 about 10 times to fully prime the filter Done!
