hi guys ive got fed up with the central locking on galaxys, its the second one ive had trouble with now and im thinking about having one of these fitted as keys are so expensive to buy even second hand, and just wondered if these are more reliable also can be given install instructions to fit it which i believe is mostly under passenger seat and i believe these work from further away aswell, anything anyone has got on these type of after market units would be a great help many thanks steve

Toad are great, cobra are reasonable. Galaxy locking isn't normally a problem though - I would investigate your problem a little more as it'll take a little effort to wire it in - also the control module was moved from under the passenger seat in about 1999

ive had many toad alarms over the years and have never had a problem with them, i didnt know the control module was moved that could cause a problem as it was quite easy to work on under the seat, i cant get my remote to light up so i think thats buggered and keys are so expensive to buy even on ebay they go for silly money , i just thought it might be worth my while investing in one of these kits and would work from further away aswell and be more reliable.
