Guest seacam Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Hello, I've been a member of this forum for about three weeks, this will be my first time posting, I thought I read first through the forum, get myself aquainted. I'm a trained sparky and gas fitter, I also buy and sell property, I'm mainly based in West London. I am now the second owner of Galaxy Ghia 2.3 tiptronic, petrol, on an 03 plate ( in Gold although it looks ocean green to me cos' it ain't Gold), 30,100 miles on the clock, ex lease vehicle complete with first 12 month MOT and a 3 month old full Ford service and a new 1 year, ( gold standard ) Waranty Direct waranty and all the service history. It's in excellent condition save for a very small but deep scratch on a nearside door. My last vehicle was a Kia Sedona 2.9 diesel auto on an 02 plate, this too was a low miler about 35,000 when I sold it. Mixed feelings really, when I got the Sedona, ( I had had a Renault Scenic before the Sedona and a Volvo before the Scenic ), it was that or a Galaxy and to be perfectly frank the Galaxy looked to bland and boring, mind you some will no doubt say the Sedona doesn't have much in the beauty stakes but there it is. As I said mixed feelings with the Sedona, I unfortunatly ended up with the infamous Adelphi diesel pump as fitted to Sedona's and some Ford diesel's. Fortunatly for me I was able to get the system fixed but it still cost me over Quote
soptom Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 I'm a trained sparky and gas fitter, I also buy and sell property, Seacam :DIt's true what they say about sparkys and gas fitters charges then. :) Welcome aboard. Quote

raymac Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Welcome Seacam ;) there are lots of niggles with the Gal and some major like the aircon/climate control which is probally the main pain in the arse and an expensive fix :D any problems and there will always be some advice given so fear not :D we are all more qualified than the ford grease monkeys so if you get a problem with it come on here first then take it to ford because you will have to explain to them exactly what the problem is and how to fix it :) :D :) Quote
