Stevie G Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Hello All, Finally had the Gal lowered on Friday, 50mm using G-Max lowering Springs. The ride height is much lower than before and now she handles even better! First 3 pictures are before & the rest are after pictures below. Stevie G Quote

Stevie G Posted September 21, 2006 Author Report Posted September 21, 2006 A beauty. Let us know if you ever plan selling it ! Puts my dirty work horse to shame :D Not planning to part with the Gal for many years...best car ever had! The Mondeo Zetec S V6 we had was fab mind...but the space in the Galaxy is great...the wife said she felt like a delivery driver for Argos the first time she had a go!!!, but loves it to bits now! Speaking of the wife, I'm thinking of selling her at the moment!!! (not in any rude kind of way I must add!) She bloody slightly kerbed one of the alloys today... Not her fault entirely, someone cut out on her and she had to swerve to avoid him..... Well that's what she's tellin me anyway!...probably puttin her bloomin lip gloss on!!!! :D Not that noticeable really, but I know it's there! Regards Stevie G Quote

Don't know the extra we paid off the top of my head, but if you don't you could be invalidating your policy!... We bought a new focus a couple of years back, a sporty version we spotted in the showroom, with Stuart Wilson kit, momo alloys...really nice....wife had a crash.. , insurance got funny cos we never told them about the extras..played real dumb, went on as though we thought it was standard as that was how we bought the car(all factory fitted)..paid out in the end without much hassle....but couldn't be bothered with all that again tho!!! (looks at the wife and gives an utter false smile of endearment!) Basically if you improve the look of your car, it is supposed to make it more attractive to would be thieves..and altering power issues could make you more prone to accidents??!!! (Quoting what our insurance company told us!) More pennies to shell out, but peace of mind if owt happens! Fingers crossed that never happens... Ta for your comments Stevie G Quote
