Ok here's something for you. What is the strangest thing you've found in a remote part of your Galaxy that you normally wouldn't look?

 

I once had a Mk2 Golf GTI that had broken glass under the carpet (break in before I bought it?)

 

Since I bought the Gal 18 months ago I have found, in various places - a Mars bar, a pound coin (in the engine bay) and a playing card.

 

Last night I was fixing the rattle from the loose heat shield in the engine bay. And I found a 3mm socket buried in the dirt in the plastic sump guard. This was not mine and I wonder how long it has been there.

i once came by a ex army landrover that had been to the gulf war 1, complete with gulf sand :( when i sold it, i forgot to give the guy the sand :( which he was so enthusiastic about, so the wife binned it, week later he comes back for it :( , i had to fill an envelope from the kids sandpit :huh: :( :(

Found all the wires and plugs for an ICE install tucked away in the left-hand rear cubby hole of my second MK1. Asked the '1 previous owner' about it but he had no idea that it was there???????????? :lol: :D Andy.

Found a petrol receipt from 1993 in a yr 2000 Fiat Marea. Receipt was from the Chiba prefecture in Tokyo!!!! :lol:
