MrT Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 When is a mod considered a mod by insurance? Is fitting a phone car kit a mod?Is a GPS speed trap detector a mod?Is an IPAQ mounting kit a mod? Quote
Guest Paul Collins Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 When is a mod considered a mod by insurance? when it's anything the insurance company don't like the sound of  My broker phoned to tell me that my insurer would not cover my Sharan because it was modified (LPG). I suggested that I would look for my own insurance, ten minutes later, the broker got me a cheaper deal with another company, including breakdown and european breakdown/repatriation Paul Quote
Guest BCA Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 To Sad Arse [/b]Sorry S A Intruder,Having read all the negative comments about adding mods and increasing the performance of individuals cars I have got to say get a life you victorian, boring, politically correct pompus grandad! its a zimmer frame you should be using to get around in not a people carrier, maybe you should turn your galaxy into a funeral directors car as you probably bore your passengers to death!! :D This country is already full of do gooders who think they know what`s best for other people. Do you want to set up communism in this country so that we all have to drive around in the same cars? As the saying goes VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE. Why should we have to get ripped of with excessive car premiums, high fuel prices, road tax etc when people in other countries like the USA or Australia can enjoy driving around in 5 litre, 350 bhp muscle cars for half the price???????? And don`t start picking on peoples grammer just because they have a different point of view to you!! If that`s what you want, get a job as a school teacher and do something positive in life! :D  WE`VE ALL GOT A COMMON INTEREST HERE, SO LETS HAVE SOME POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND ENJOY WHAT WE`VE GOT! LIVE LONG AND PROSPER! :o :D Quote
