NikpV Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Interesting - replaced the glowplug last year with upgraded type (couldn't get from Fords at that time, went through a company in midlands somewhere who got them direct from BERU looked just like the original as pictured here anybody got a picture of the 'Ford' upgraded one as it turns out my problem was a loose connection (live and earth are on the same connector) so the plug pictured above is a working one :wub: Quote
Guest gooner52 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 nikp should of took a pic before it was put in thats the same as the one that came out the new ford one is not as big and as 2 wires coming from the glowplug,'which go straight into the multi plug,but you need to remove the old wires first makes a very neat tidy job Quote

raymac Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Ok peeps here we go, 7.5c this morning and nothing from the jet engine :D i connected the heater wires under the gal a couple of months ago ,if i were to fit a 10amp mini fuse and nothimg was to happen would i need to get vag com to find out if there are any fault codes or will the 10amp fuse bypass all this :D if not and a new glow plug was fitted would fitting a new glowplug clear any fault codes or will vag com be needed, if you read this twice you should know what i'm on about :D :D :D Quote
