Headlights

I am disappointed with lights they just don't seem bright enough.

anyone upgraded from the ones supplied by ford.

any suggestions welcome.

p.s I don't fancy hids sounds too complecated for a simpleton like me

Just uprated my bulbs in my MK2 Gal. Halfords had some 80Watt H7 bulbs going for i think it was about

Seem to remember this being covered many times before with lots of good advice given and links to test data for different types of bulb upgrades.

I bought a HID Upgrade kit from eBay last year for my Alfa 156 but didn't get chance to fit it.

 

Just realised the Galaxy has H7 Bulbs so will probably fit to the GAL instead of selling now.

 

The only way to replace the bulbs i found the quickest was to remove the 3 bolts for the headlights and remove the entire units.
