Dave-G Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 My sisters Galaxy had this problem after a brake servo was replaced. The switch on the brake pedal had (we think) been damaged during the replacement, or coincidently failed. replacement of the switch sorted it. That was on a y reg 115 tdi manual. Quote
dulux72 Posted September 4, 2006 Author Report Posted September 4, 2006 Cheers for that Dave-G This is a 05 TDI Going to have another look this eveningOr its a trip to the stealers Quote

Please  when the glowplugs are on permanent it usually is related to the break lights. please check your break bulbs are working if the break lights do come one then under the pedal is a tinny piece of plastic..when that becomes worn then the breaks dont come on..this is easy to fix.. scrote Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 As above really - some vehicles brake lights work even when the ignition is off and it appears that in some way the galaxy glow plugs are connected (maybe the same circuit ?) so - change your brake light switch and all should be ticketie boo (thats fine in laymans terms) Quote
