Thank goodness I found you all ;) We thought we were the only Galaxy fans around. ;)

I've had my '97 1.9TDi 106,000 mile Galaxy for approx. 3 years and we (DH and 5 yr old son) love it. People often wonder why a family of 3 have a 7 seater car a) I feel safer (actually I do own the road syndrome) ;) We often take our disabled parents/in-laws out for the day with us c) We go camping and need all the space.

Looking through the archives I've found loads of useful information, thank you.

Hoping to add to our Galaxy family too. DH has a 02 Ford Focus which he uses for approx. 15 mile per week so he's having the '97 Galaxy (we could see why we should by an unknown run around diesel when we have one we know sitting on the drive.) We then part-ex'ing the Focus for a MK2 Galaxy. Our drive will look like we're breeding Ford Galaxy's LOL

One question, when is the new MK3 Galaxy released? I haven't seen any out on the road yet and we want to wait until there is an influx of MK2's for part-ex available.

Cheers for now

Welcome indeed!

Fraud main dealers are taking orders for the Mk3 now but still havent seen one on the roads. Mk2's are still being sold as new from the same forcourts so prices havent dipped yet.

As an indication for you, in the midlands, a Y reg Mk2 TDi Ghia with about 45,000 mls and FFSH can be picked up for between
