sanjsanj Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Hi guys....I've been at my cousins house for the past few days and shes asked me to find a suitable car for her....She wants a medium sized car....shes got a pug 106 atm and she wants something bigger but not bigger than a ford focus hatch which is about 4.35 metres long. She would like it to be "trendy" and about 3 years + -1 year old.The ford focus doesn't look that good...so she isn't going for that but, she wants VERY good fuel economy as, even though she is a dentist and can earn Quote
Bigjeeze Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 If the congestion charge is an issue then she'd be best off getting on one of those big red diesels run by London transport - Not only does she save the C Charge but she saves the cost of running a car . Anyway as you say if she's a dentist then she can afford a proper car like a Galaxy!! Quote
Guest HairyPlateEater Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Toyota Prius .... hybrid electric power means no congestin charge, unless I'm grossly mistaken and have been living on mars for the past few years (which is possible!) Quote

greg_68 Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 If she's happy with her 106 why not go up the Peugeot range 206, 307 etc.The cc's are a proper girlie car. Quote
Guest MATT jr Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 i dont think you will be able to avoid the congestion charge without spending mega bucks in the 1st place. a price bracket would be usful - as money is a "bit tight" to some1 like bill gates is a couple of million - as to me its below the Quote
El Dingo Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 Skoda Fabia 1.2 in bright red. Low running costs and very cheap insurance. I kid you not!!! Currently seen as a *really cool car*. Quote

Then you'd be wrong! Take a look in your price range.Fabia is basically a VW Polo, and the market has woken up to this. Quote
