Damn it's 4.00AM and I'm still up! :D so far I've played right through my ipod twice (122 songs) and updated it twice! replacing all items on it, but still cant to sleep! :D wrote and sent three long emails! surfed and posted replies on several web sites and am still wide awake! I would hit the sleeping pills but due to some thieveing scumbag at heathrow/logan airport who went through my bag I had to throw all my medications away as they tampered with the bottles' helped themselves to some of the contents and spilt the rest over the inside of my bags! but that's another story! third ipod udate 167 songs to stay awake through :( see you all later after I wake up....... that's if I get any sleep! :D

Has she tried fresh pineapple? Works a treat for bringing on the contractions as it contains small amounts of the same chemical released by the body to start them off (and in the drugs given to induce labour!)

Worth a try!

Classic jet lag. :(

Next time from Logan take an early evening flight, try to sleep on the flight, then stay awake all day when you get home.

very douteful thats it's jet lag! I've been here for three weeks so far and well past that stage! could be the extra energy I have? after all I've dropped my work rate to match the DAY's/FAB's

the method you describe to beat jet lag is the way I do it, take the red eye and stay awake on arrival, then back to work the following day

You are still on Boston time, as your post put you at 09:06, but you thought it was 04:00.

I'd get back to your doctor, as it's a bit rich to make you wait three weeks for replacement medication.

Do you go Business Class? My company doesn't allow this, but we have recently been allowed to travel Premium Economy, which makes a big difference. I can sleep better in Premium. Plus, the cabin crew don't turn up the heat so much, trying to make the 'cheap seats' sleep and thus get an easy life.

when I say medication it was all non prescription stuff advil etc.... one of my bags was 1.2kg over the limit! so they made me empty stuff out it into another bag, my bike bag, the stuff I swapped over was my toiletries bag and all my shoes/trainer etc, this bag didnt make the flight  and when it did turn up it have been ransacked and some stuff was missing! all the toiletries/medication had been opened or tipped out in the bag  so at present a complaint/claim is being pursued through BA

we get to fly world traveller + with BA or if we use American Airlines we go Premium Economy and I always try to ge flights tht allow me to arrive ether late evening or early morning, that way I get to sleep just after landing or as you say stay up all day then hit the sheets either way seem to work ok for me :D apart from last night! when I just couldnt sleep! could be the lack of beer yesterday? or he home sickness kicking in? :D

Home sickness could be creeping in.......got a hammer if you need it!! :D :D :D

You have a hammer? are you sure you know how to use it? or do you want neil to pop round and show you what end to hold? it was bad enough that they let you loose on the road yet alone let you loose with dangerous tools! :(

I'm pretty sure i can figure out myself which end to hold.. :)

Though not sure how dangerous a hammer can be when you have hold of it by the grip and you wave the stick bit about!! :D :)
