Got mine on Tuesday, taxed online, got new tax disc Thursday! Hows that for efficient!!!!

Should get it about 4 weeks before Mo....no probs though just go to the PO with MOt/Insurance and they'll sort it for you...

4 weeks???????..blimey..i havent had one thru at all!!..how will i know if i will be paying the correct amount due to the change in the way it is done now?

Last time I didn't get one, PO were right gits about it ... first person I spoke to refused to do it "We can't do it without the renewal notice as it's all computerised now ..... " and the second person gave me abuse before finally agreeing to do it with a huff anf a puff!! Jobsworths the lot of em!

I thought the emmisions related car tax was a once only deal......anything pre 2001 was set at the time?

the powers that be's thinking is that newer engines are more efficient (regardless that the same engine is used in newer cars!)

 

Same old story though ... the government having two faces. Pay people to have more kids, then take it back off them because they need a bigger car!
