I have done a quick search of the forum but can't see answer.

With my MK2 galaxy the handbook seems to cover mainly MK1 features and all the illustrations show MK1 trim for example the triangular shape centre air vent instead of the 3 way version.

Have I got the wrong handbook OR were Ford keep costs down and being lazy??

Thanks

will have a look at our handbook later but what year/model is yours - maybe if you are close to changeover date they had a few mk1's to get rid of ? - stick your car details in the signature then you can forget about them :(

Sorry - I posted this quickly at work near the end of lunch! :)

I've got a 53 plate Zetec 1.9TDi (115).

And another reason I think the handbook covers the MK1 - I have just had to find the Vin Plate for the trim code (apparently the dealer can't figure it out from the vin no??).

The handbook says vin no. under N/S lower of windscreen, and centre of windscreen scuttle panel (under bonnet) and the vin plate on the O/S b pillar.

The vin nunbers are where the book says (and they match each other - which is nice!) however the only thing on the b pillar is the tyre pressure label.

I have found the vin plate (hidden on the OS under the bonnet, behind the hinge)

:P

I have an 03 plate just like yours and my handbook is correct for the car, think you may have been given the wrong one.
