Hiya,

Wonder if anyone can help - when I lock my Gal with the key, it automatically enables the alarm & imobiliser. If I want to leave a window 3cm open and/or leave the dog in the car (for 5 minutes, only on a cold-ish day !) - how do I do that without having the alarm going off ?

Thanks,

Graeme

Turn the key to lock position then return to central position, then turn to lock position again, this will lock the car but won't enable deadlocking or the alarm. I think you have to do the 2 turns within 2 seconds. The light in the drivers door will go off but the car will be locked.

You can also do this by pressing the lock button on the fob twice within 2 seconds, or lean through from the rear door and and push the drivers door release lever in. All have the same effect.
