Cant Bloody Save!

trying to save some data.....floppy wont insert into drive A...F is inaccessable (CD writer) Says incorrect function....DVDROM drive has some ISO error message....whats going on????...yes i have the correct floppies..it just wont go in..feels like summit is stopping it.

 

 

Help ????..have to download some images for an appointment and have never done this before...I am clicking save and to the drive i want it to go but it wont work!!..short on time here!

am trying to save 2 images to either cd or floppy...floppy wont even go in the pc...as for disc..i get told that drive F is inaccessable....that is my cdrw drive..the other drive is my dvdrom drive..i open the preview pic..click save and where i want it to go which is the drive....and i get error messages like i said b4

Use a memory stick or an online drive ?

 

 

 

Or why wont your disc go in your PC is it a disc or a floppy disc (3.5 or 5.25) ?

What disc are you using ?

Dont have a memory stick..no idea what an online drive is..floppy wouldnt go in..3.5 which is correct size..something is stopping it..had a look and all i could see was a little metal thing inside sticking up..what disc???to save to i presume???a CD-R 52x 700mb one.

 

Anyway..ended up printing them off as i nearly missed my appointment.

do you have xp windows ?

save the pic's to a folder "my pic's" or something,

then go there to to the folder click/highlight the pic's you want,

then on right hand menu copy to cd/disk "

I did all that..but it wont save to disc. :)

Here's a few snipppets that may help, albeit a little late :D .

sounds like a disk shield is stuck in your drive, if not that then some other foreign body :D

This is where a pair of tweezers come in handy, stick em in the hole and pull out the offending article, then you can stick your disk in :D

Also sounds as though the cd in your cdrw is not writable! Make sure it's a new blank cdr and not a finalized (closed) one.

you can't write to a dvd rom drive as it's read only.
