Fuse Blowing

me galaxy keeps blowing the stereo and the interior light fuse,some times you can put the fuse in and its okay for a few hours then you leave the car for a while and get back in it and the fuse has blown again then if you try to put another fuse in it trys to melt the fuse any ideas many thanks.

had a mk1 a few years ago and it did something similar. I had to change the switches on the pilars that turned the interior lights off when you closed the doors. The wires had all come loose in the switch.

 

Not sure if its your answer though ? :unsure:

do you have the lights on the inside bottom of the doors if so then maybe broken insulation on wires in rubber boots (doors to pillars) try opening all the doors, put a fuse in (if you can) and wiggle the rubber boots one at a time and see if the fuse blows

went round car and disconnected all of them and still blew the fuse,does anyone know if the stereo should ?be sharing the fuse with the interior light
