Guest homer Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 Hi just came back from Cornwall and nearing our home we went to change gear and the clucth pedal fell to the floor.Managed to limp home stuck in third gear, now on drive with what looks like a yellow type of liquid dripping on the drive from under the gearbox, any ideas, if so how much to fix. Quote

It could be the slave cylinder which is mounted in the bell housing has popped a seal - I think this will be a gearbox out job to find out. Before you do go to that check the rest of the hydraulics it may be something you can get to externally. Quote
