Hesitant 2.3 Zetec

:) Hi all,got a Mk1 2.3 Zetec Galaxy, love it too bits

But seems to be holding back when accelerating like a slight misfire.

Done 81K, all original, new plugs last month, oil and filter.

Runs ok round town, slightly notice like the cars holding back.

Today went on 30 mile run, left it all day, when started had misfire for 20 seconds then settled down.

Anyone any ideas, get around 17-20mpg in town? That sound about right?

I had the same problem,,,,,could not work it out,,,,changed most of the sensors,,,,,,,,,,,,,could not find the rough idle,,holding back a little,,excess fuel usage,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I changed the oxygen sensor,(Failed MOT on emissions),,
