Custom Install (14th August) - It's All Going In!

Well,

 

After buying all my bits & pieces I'm now finding I'm getting less and less time to install the system myself. :(

This is mainly down to work as we're approaching an Outage (Major Service) at the Power Station and I haven't had a weekend off yet since beginning of July! :o

The Outage doesn't start till the first week in September and then it will be 6 Days of 12hr's for 6-8 weeks and thats excluding the 2 hrs travel a day!

So absolutely no chance there what-so-ever! :wacko:

 

So if I'm earning all this OT then I might as well sacrifice 2 weekends worth and get it fitted professionally.....with a few extras as well ;)

 

The other factor is that my other half 'B' is about to drop in the next 2-3 weeks! :o

So with another ickle one imminent then i've got no chance there! :)

 

So the setup will be...

Kenwood MP3 Headunit,

6 x Hertz Speakers, 4 Tweeters

Veba AV2408 DVD Player,

Clarion Source Commander MSS430,

Playstation 2,

Freeview TV Hideaway Unit,

Twin IR Headphones (Playstation end),

2 x 8" Swivel Monitors (Front & Rear)

and god knows how many remotes!!

 

Each monitor will be able to watch DVD, Freeview, PS2 etc seperately.

The Playstation will be off the 10 speakers system as well as independantly through the headphones, so if the others want to watch TV, DVD then they can and have the sound through the 10 speakers.

 

If I can think of anything else to sling in ..... :)

 

I daren't tell you the cost of the install, but they need it for at least 3 days :huh:

 

Shame, as I was looking forward to fitting it as well.

I've always done all my installs without any problems, so this wasn't gonna phase me.

Not sure, His showroom is impressive, all he does is installs, etc.

Well I buy all my stereo stuff from him.

 

But this is how long he wanted it for, so as I'm finally on Hol's for a week, thats fine by me.

 

Then again it will save me a few MPG's for not driving it! :D
