I Can Start The Car Any Gear?

Hi again...

Im still playing with the galaxy trying to sort the auto box limp home mode...but i have i just found out that i can start the car in ANY gear could it be the gear position sensor that has gone???...If soo where about is it??.. :rolleyes:

Its called the starter inhibitor switch,,,,,,and that stops the engine with auto boxes starting in gear,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and its fitted to the gear selector shaft

I just had a look in the haynes and it says also check for "incorrect selector mechanism adjustment,,,,,,,,,,,this maybe the problem of your limp home mode,,,,,,,,,,,,
