hi guys hows all, ok ive just had the following work done on my galaxy in the last 2 weeks track rod end, anti roll bar linkage,wheel bearing, top bush on 2 struts, wishbone bushes x2, anyway went to have the front tyres replaced yesterday wheel balanced and tracking went for a drive and now have wheel vibration, steering wheel slight vibration, and when sat in the middle of the galaxy it can be felt also anyone have an opinion on this as i think it maybe the rear tyres as they werent balanced with the front or they put the wrong balancing pins on one of the tyres i did notice that there were 2 on the passenger side and one on the drivers side so not sure if thats got anything to do with it anyway any help guys thanks smoggy

hi guys anyone throw any light on this for us we had the tyres re-balanced after i told them i had a steering wobble ok went out today to try it and have a little steering shake no as bad as before it has inproved it but it still noticeable at about 70-75 slightly worse after 80 so anyone got any comments on it as we have had the other parts looked at to see if there was anything untowards but cant find any other problems after all the work we have had done to it many thanks smoggy

Hi smoggy,

 

Do a search for 'bent drive shaft' or something like that - there has been such a case on this forum recently.

 

You could also have (IMHO):

- A bent wheel (but should have been noticed when balancing the wheels)

- A bulging tyre (same)

- A seriously warped disc

- A slightly warped disc and a siezed caliper (normally rear wheel)

- A damaged CV joint (this will also show up as a loud repeated click on full lock)
