My current MK11 speakers are crap both front and rear, does anyone know of any good replacements or sizes to looks for.

Are the panels easy to take off on the front doors to get to the speakers?

I changed all the speakers in my mondeo because the old ones are rubbish. I bought some 165mm speakers made by FLI and they sound good and are quite cheap (

Has been a great help for me as my drivers door speaker blew yesterday so looks like new front speakers for me and like you i think i'll do all four so at least i know they will all be rockin when i play Iron Maiden at full tilt.

Martin what were the depths of the speakers as i've found some on eBay for

The speakers I fitted are FLI Integrator 6 and are speced at 48mm depth and seemed to have plenty of space. Make sure you route the cable away from the moving window parts in the door, I zip tied my leads to another cable in the door but don't pull the zip tie tight. Check out www.fliaudio.co.uk full details are on that site. You should be able to get hold of them from Halfords but go to the largest store in your aera then you can hear them on the sound board.

Thanks for the great advice Martin one more question springs to mind are the rear door speakers 6x9 too?

Don't get 6x9's, I don't think they'll fit (well not easy anyway). You'll need the 165mm round speakers. Front and rear doors use the same speakers.

Bought a pair of those speakers yesterday and the mat stuff and the adaptor ring and i've got to say i can't wait to get a pair in the back cause the front sounds awesome.
