I can't find a online shop selling Galaxy parts? There must be someone out there trading online? Anyone know of one?

So when it comes down to it, there isn't anywhere online to buy Ford parts!

I think I've found a new money making venture!

there are loads of places if you know where to look? you do know how to use a search engine? hit google and see what you come up with?

heres a couple of places to start you off

http://www.rmcarspares.co.uk/acatalog/RM_C...d_Galaxy_2.html

http://www.fordpartsuk.com/index.html

As you've discovered yourself, google lists the among others the two you've put links to, but they are very poor.

If you want a bright red hand brake cover or the usual stuff that Halfords sell then fine, but they don't sell any replacement parts for the vehicle?

There aren't any decent online shops selling ford parts!

I agree, and I too am surprised by the lack of a good online supplier for Ford parts, given the number of privately owned Fords in this country.

The ones suggested are not great - fordpartsuk has an 'email for a price' approach, and I picked a random part (brake discs) on the RM site and was met with a 'This product is unavailable' message. The Euro and GSF sites (and Andyspares site which preceded it) are examples of a good online catalogue, and they both stock a good range for the makers they supply parts for - fortunately this does cover many Galaxy mechanical parts.

I used the Andyspares site for many years to keep my beloved Citroen going, and subsequently the GSF shops when they merged. The online store was not only a shop, but a source of info - it's often easier to select parts given good descriptions of the various items with pics.

I'm amazed there isn't something similar for all Fords, or indeed that no one has identified this as an opportunity. Nearest thing I've found is

which covers all makes and models. :)

There is a lot of parts on eBay, and I have had variable success with these - Mintex pads and discs were excellent and very cheap, but some of the generic service parts have been of dubious quality and have gone back to a trusted local (well, 15 miles away) motor factor for these.
