dodalexander Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 I've just uncovered a button on my integrated child seat, at the top of the seat back and normally hidden by the headrest/shoulder pads. It is stamped 'Press', but when I did I couldn't see anything happening. Anyone know what this is for? Cheers,George Quote
TimsBamma Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Is this at the bottom of one of the two Headrest posts? If so I'd've thought it was the release button to enable the headrest to be removed so the childs neck support can be taken off and the seat returned to adults only mode. Quote
dodalexander Posted August 2, 2006 Author Report Posted August 2, 2006 I know which button you mean Timsbamma, but this one is between the two slots for the headrest. This is an oval-shaped button that presses into the seat. Quote
Guest funkmiester Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 When you press it, it reels in the harness on the child seat, or lets it out. Hope this helps.... Quote
TimsBamma Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Yep spotted that last night, must admit I'd wondered how to adjust. Bit strange because the other 'child' seat doesn't have the button and has adjusters on the 'chest' straps Quote
NikpV Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 When you press it, it reels in the harness on the child seat, or lets it out. Hope this helps.... Thats what its supposed to do - on one of our child seats it doesn't do much but on the other two it does - works better without the child sitting in the seat though Quote
Masked Marauder Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Damn, and there was me hoping it was either an "Eject" button or a "Mute" control... Quote
Guest bigal Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Damn, and there was me hoping it was either an "Eject" button or a "Mute" control... Is a partition screen available for the galaxy, like the ones they have in London Cabs, if so i'll have one, no make that two one for the wife as well. :) Quote
dodalexander Posted August 5, 2006 Author Report Posted August 5, 2006 Thanks for the info folks - i don't use the child belts so it would have been a while before i figured that out :) Quote
