Are they petrol or diesel? If both are diesel, the more powerful one will be better. If either is petrol, then the diesel one will be better (even if it is the lower powered one), as it has a turbo, and lots of low end 'grunt'. I hate autos for towing so don't listen to me but others amy offer sensible advice. Again, personal opinion only; don't discount having a stabiliser just because it doesn't seem to need one. If it all goes wrong, and it can so very easily, you will wish that you'd had one. I hope you enjoy your 'van. My wife took the caravan and bought the cash. Guest MATT jr Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 the one with most torque (most prob the 110). An Automatic would be better, but if both manual, go for the one with most power/torque, and also check the weight of the two cars, (dunno if a 110 is heaver than a 90?) MJR Quote
Guest 3.5bullet Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 the 110 kicks out 235Nm where as the 90 kicks out 202Nm so the 110 will be the better option for a tow car, as for the vehicle wieght? that all depends on the vehicle spec? as the kerb wieght differs to the options fitted? but the GMV is stated as 2400 kg for all models and the max towing limit of 1585 for all 19tdi's Quote
