Invitation By The FFOC.(ford Focus Owners Club.)

I have been contacted by the FFOC about a show they are having on the 17th sept at Billing Aquadrome.

We are invited as a club to show our Galaxys as part of the show.

Time is very short as they need numbers NOW.As you will see from the link there are many clubs going.It will be good if we can have a representative number of Gals from our forum going...I am aiming to go but as you are all aware..mine is not in very good shape!! :lol:

Being held at Billing Aquadrome, Northamptonshire, on Sunday 17th September

 

It is the first show we have organised ourselves, and are hoping that we have a

respectable turn-out of cars and clubs.

It is primarily geared towards the modern Fords (Focus, Galaxy, mondeo, Ka, Puma

etc) rather than the old skool Fords.

 

Traders are being approached to attend and we hope to have a selection there

covering different products.

 

Billing Aquadrome is an ideal venue for those with families offering a wide

range of amusements and rides.

Ok...for those of you who may be interested....i need names by the 20th August. There is a discount for you if you go...if you go and pay on the day..then it will be more expensive,

 

It would be nice for us and for the site as a whole to get as much publicity as we can..would be good for Glen aswell....so far i have given out this forum addy to several people who have Gals/sharons.....It would be nice if we could get on the map as they say with our Galaxys.....Maybe if we could..Ford would not be able to ignore us and our problems....Please look at the wider picture..this is a small step that could lead to bigger things..ok ..its only a show...but its a bloody start. If you go and are willing to show your Gal/sharon etcc....then please say.

Actually, there is a public footpath that runs through Billing Aquadrome, and because of this admission is free for people on foot. Obviously if you are camping or want to park inside the Aquadrome the you have to pay.

 

If anyone wants to attend and not take their car in then let me know on this thread and I will post a map showing where you can park close by and walk in.

Entry to show costs..but the pitch fee which has been discounted..also includes entry to the show...you need a ticket for the show.On the day if you turn up..the price you will pay is the same as if you had camped IIRC..

 

If you choose MM options.. you will still have to pay an entrance fee.

If you are going to join us then please let me know even if coming down for the day just to show off your wheels..as space will be allocated on how many cars there will be.

I would suggest you aim to arrive at Billing between 7 to 8AM earlier the better to avoid any cues, those of you camping will already be on site so all you need to do is move your vehicles into your allocated stand space. We will mark out an area on the show ground for your club & vehicles from your club arriving on the day will be directed to join those that are already there
