Guest MATT jr Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Hi, in about 5 days, we will be leaving for Spain. i read in the manual, that the headlamps can be adjusted, for driving on the wrong side - but it says take it to a ford dealer (HECK!) does anyone know what to do?, i have seen some small plastic screws on the headlamps, does this have anything to do with it? thanks, MJR Quote
mumof4 Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 I saw in tesco last night in their car bit..that they have a headlamp conversion kit for driving abroad...dont know if this could help. Quote
Guest 3.5bullet Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 isnt that only applicable to HID's? standard head lights need the stick on beam adjusters Quote
Andrew T Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Do a search it's been discussed before, but if IIRC the switching only applies to the optional xenon headlights, what you need is a template in order to correctly position the convertors/blanks. Myself I just stick a bit of tape in a likely looking spot - to keep the Foriegn Filth happy should I get stopped. How would they check the effectiveness of them without optical equipment ? Quote

Guest MATT jr Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Its always IF YOUVE PAID FOR THE TOP OF THE RANGE EQUIPMENT, THEN YES, OTHERWISE GET LOST! MJR Quote
