strouf Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Hi all... I'm looking to change the factory (crap) radio with a new one that will play mp3, or have an AUX input and better radio reception !! I wouldn't like to loose the ability to use the steering wheel buttons though... Can anybody recommend a stereo that is compatible with the Ford "environment" ?My car is a 2004 Gal. Ghia fitted with the ICE6000rds headunit. Quote
Masked Marauder Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Many audio manufacturers make an adaptor to fit between the remote and the head unit. It is usually an extra though. I bought my Blaupunkt from http://www.bluespot.co.uk/ and they pre-configured the interface to the settings needed for the remote, making it a plug and play solution. Any other wiring differences are done with adaptor leads. Quote
