Climate Control Advice

still have flashing panel, mate loaded vag com and fault showed recirc flap fault any ideas as what is at fault, do i need a new solenoid to fix problem ? By the way aircon nice and cold/cool as temp reading was 40 celisius earlier :huh:

when you have climate on and say blower speed is at level 4 when you engage recirc mode should the blower sound like and feel like it has increased in speed but still remaining at level 4, and does anyone have any diagrams of where the flap/motor solenoids are located please :huh: thanks in advance

back from france and i,m :( to be back and :( as no replies or advice for my diagram on recirc flap solenoid

 

location , anyway fantastic holiday and the old gal never missed a beat after covering 1950 miles in 2 weeks,

 

the only thing was that i put in the wrong tyre pressure in the rears and under inflated them my 12psi

 

:blink: i put in 38 when it should have been 50 lucky not to have had a mishap me thinks :rolleyes:

fully laden should be 42 rear 38 front IIRC.

 

Just looking in my manual here...i got it wrong methinks...should be 41 front 38 rear up to half load on my tyres..and fully laden is 44 front 50 rear up to full load..that is for 215/55/R16 tyres which i have.

 

Ah well..never claimed to be perfect!! :blink:

Thanks for the diagram , just need to know which part it is :blink: and what's it like to fit, definitely the recirc not working i think :rolleyes: as there is no change to the air flow when recirc is engaged

The sticker on my car says 41 front 38 rear half load....but yes..i corrected myself once id had a looksie in my trusty dog eared , tea stained manual!! :rolleyes: :blink:

Cheers mate as i have climate control reading the descriptions it is no 21 now just to find out what it's like to fit :blink: :rolleyes: so if anyone out there has fitted one of these a bit of advice would be most welcome :(

i believe the part your looking for is the silver and black object on the lhd side of the picture? near the drainage gully

Thanks mate :rolleyes: looking at that whole unit i would say that part looks like it might be behind the glovebox area, i'll have a look tomorrow
