Air Con;

Has anybody had a problem with a damp patch in the passenger footwell and is it caused by the air con;

And if so how do you cure it.

If not any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is your car new? If so get it back. Be careful if pre-facelift car, ECU is in that area and was moved in 2000 year models because of leaks etc.

There have been various threads on water ingress in the passenger footwell due to blocked scuttle drains & rear washer water pipes coming apart. Unlikely to be air-con as this will evaporate

Do a search but dont forget to set to 365 days.

I would check the air con. If its on all the time there will be a continous dripping of water off the evaporator coil, the amount will depend on weather conditions (it depends on the humidity of the air).
