Guest MATT jr Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 How do you get into switches to change the leds/smds? the aircon/rear heater/recirc buttons are hard to tell if there on or not, in the day light. MJR Quote
Guest gooner52 Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 air con unit remove black cover and then the 4 screws. once out,2 or 4 gold srews holding the case, remove screwsand drraw the unit and circut board out ,you will then see all the smdsfor the led panel ,you need to twist and turn 8 lugs, and the lcd will come away you will then see the rest of the smds around 26 in total to replace the smds ,you will need bright blue ford ones which i bought from crazy leds on ebay at 75p each when you look at the smd one corner has a slit in it this is the minus legjust replace the same way ps on the bottom buttons are 2x red smds also change them for brighter ones 2 hope this helpswill post some pics very soon will main clocks are done Quote
