I have just upgraded my stereo to a sat nav unit with video input, all working fine and then just went off. All fuses are ok - checked a second unit which i have still no joy. Checked the audio system fuse (30) and is fine, but definately no power to the audio iso lead.

Can some one shed some light as to what could be the problem. nothing else has stopped working, could it be a specific relay? or am i checking the wrong fuse?

Please help.

Try running a power lead to the unit and see if it fires up - If it does then start back tracking to find out why you have no power.

Disconnect the av input unit then run a straight live from the battery to the mfd to see if it powers up...the av input I've got fitted needed one of its live feeds bridging (cutting) as it would try and feed the aux av input to the mfd thinking it had a reverse camera fitted....

I don't see the need for this to be in two places, so I am going to join the threads together, this may make things a bit muddled, but bear with me!

only the feed from the yellow wire live, the red wire connected to the red/brown not showing anything even with car running, is there a fuse just for the ignition bit, sorry not very technical!!
