michael.darling Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 I have hit the front passenger footwell - rear washer pipe leak problem (tho mine is higher up than in the FAQs) and my Cruise control doesn't work either. Should both these be covered by my Ford Direct warranty? My local Ford dealer says no to the first problem I haven't checked the second yet, but I am sure the warranty should cover this... Has anyone else had trouble with the Ford Direct cover? Quote
Marky Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Every problem I've had has never been questioned (not had many though) I was lead to believe that the ford direct warranty was more comprehensive (as it covers you for higher yearly mileages) than the standard warranty. Don't forget the fact that your gal still has a three year warranty from new i.e if you bought your car from ford direct at 6 months old when your 2 year ford direct warranty expires you would still have 6 months of the original 3 year warranty remaining...soz, a bit confusing and I've had a couple of beers but I hope that makes sense!! Give Ford customer services a ring...you never know you might catch them on a good day!!! Quote
Thicko Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 I got my Galaxy with Ford Direct warranty. Immediately I got the vehicle home I found the parking sensors weren't working. I phoned the local dealers immediately. They said that'll be Quote
