smoggy7 Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 hi guys we suspect the maf simply because this car did not jump before until we put the new maf on so its down to that and the ecu, i dont think this has to be remapped or anything as i have read up in the forums that you disconnect the battery and fit the maf so unless the maf is faulty again as this is the second one or the ecu aint reading it properly or there could be a problem between the 2 at some point so going to phone a mate of mine who deals with this sort of stuff in the morning to see if he can shed some light on it as i am not getting anywhere at the moment many thanks smoggy Quote
smoggy7 Posted July 9, 2006 Author Report Posted July 9, 2006 hi ive just had an email saying that the software for the ecu maybe corrupt is this correct aanybody know because it should reset after disconnecting the battery thx smoggy Quote
Masked Marauder Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 I doubt it is a software issue. I would suspect the MAF is dodgey, you have tried everything else! Quote
