mikej Posted July 6, 2006 Author Report Posted July 6, 2006 As my onboard computer has a life of its own ie sometimes its on and other times its off i would like to inspect the wiring /Cct board etc , what rules??????? Quote
muffking Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Hi Mike. I only queried it as I asked a question regarding the clocks some time ago and it was frowned upon. You need to remove the upper & lower cowlings around the steering wheel and there will be 2 T20 screws facing forwards below the clocks, but are quite hidden unless you fix the steering column in the down position, although you will still need a long reach screwdriver. When the screws are out you can use a flat bladed screwdriver to prize a gap open above the centre of the clocks, this will release the clip above the clocks allowing them to slide forward from the top down. Don't unplug the connectors though unless you are prepared to have to reset the warning indicators on the ECU as clock removal will flag up in the ECU. Quote
