jkspoff Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 If you've tried everything to get your A/C working on yours, then maybe this will be worth a try and forget about all those Quote
Masked Marauder Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 So where does the hot air go? You can't destroy energy. On a conventional AC system it goes outside via the condenser. So where does it go on your cool-box? Thats right, out the fan in the back of the box and into the car! Then where does the heat generated by the 8 amps or so drawn by the cool-box and the fan go to? Thats right, into the car! So the car will end up hotter! Quote

Guest BagPuss Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 These ingenious units (16.5" x 9") sit on top of a cool boox filled with ice cubes or bottles of iced water and the fan which is powered via a standard plug in 12v supply blows out the cooled air whilst drawing back the air via the inlet vent. Great solution for car, caravan, tent, small room etc. So what happens when it's all melted? :D Quote
