Well today it went into a little garage on the way to work.

I spose i was hoping for too much as I hadn't heard anything.

Well it seems it wasn't good news but not bad either.

It seems the low pressure side is leaking from the main alluminium pipe at the front.

The one that does the rounds via the headlight etc.

It has a 4mm hole in it somewhere.

So until that is repaired I still can't be sure

Have you seen this: http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=8956

You may be able to simply cut out the section with the hole in and replace it with some special pipe and clips!

Yep I did have a read and thought it was a good idea.

We were thinking of 316L St.Stl and bending it ourselves with compression fittings (Tools & fittings from work), but looking at where the pipe is and where it goes I'm thinking ..... Sod that.

The trouble is the amount of time, i.e removing the front bumper and having everything at hand to do the job.

Plus I need it every day as well, so if I couldn't finish it I'm stuffed for work

Hence getting it done all at once.

I did see on eBay the complete set of Air Con hoses etc but from a 2.8 Ghia, so not sure it that would fit for getting a pattern off?
