Guest Dont fix if it's not broken& Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Hi AllI am a newby to the site and this is my first post, hope you can help. I have a 97 2.8 Galaxy that i have owned for 3 years it has always ran very hot. I have flushed the cooling system and checked for air locks, blocked rads and everything is ok. No cylinder head problems as the oil and water show no signs of emulsifying. The fans come in late- the temp gauge is close to the red, when they do opperate the temp drops quickly but rises again. Whilst putting some pads on last night i noticed that the ballst resistors that live near the rad were damaged, would this be my problem??? Thanks Quote
