Guest curly Posted September 28, 2003 Report Posted September 28, 2003 Hi Under the two front seats are 2 large areas that in my Galaxy have carpet over them. Can you buy storage trays to fit in these holes?? Just seems a bit of a waste of storage space which I could use otherwise!! Quote

Guest Paul L Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Might be useful to store stuff you 'borrow' from work!!!!!!!! Quote

Guest barney Posted October 4, 2003 Report Posted October 4, 2003 I store the Jack under the passengers seat and use the space in the boot for my Cd changer , I did not fancy putting the CD changer so low down ! Quote
Guest JIMSTDI Posted October 4, 2003 Report Posted October 4, 2003 hi barney didnt u have the space in the back shelf pocket for your cd changer to go how old is your gal all the best james Quote
Guest barney Posted October 4, 2003 Report Posted October 4, 2003 My CD Changer was too big to fit (10CD,S) so the only alternative was the space where the Jack fitted , mind its quite handy as I can change the CD's in seconds. This particular Player has been in 4 different cars and I've fitted them myself , there was just enough cable to fit the Changer into the Galaxy .My car is a 96 Model 80,000 miles , 1 new Maf sensor , 1 new a/c compressor. batteryboy Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 There is a lockable metal storage unit which you can buy from Ford which bolts under the driver's seat. It costs about Quote
seatkid Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 Be aware that these cubbyholes may possibly get filled up with water if the windsceen feed pipe seperates (very common fault). Quote
ridway Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 I read alot about these cubby holes under the front seats filling with water for one reason or another and damaging whatever may be stored or fixed in them. Is there any reason why a couple of small drain holes can't be drilled? At least it might give the bits in there some chance if it floods. Or would we just get water coming in the other way when driving in heavy rain? Rich Quote
vodkas Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Not much I can put under my seats. N/S has some ecu unit and O/S has bloody big leasure battery hooked up to the rear power outlets. great for running fridge and tv when camping. Anybody else got one of these factory fitted second batteries? Quote
