Masked Marauder Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 I changed my outer CV joint (at last) today and it was a fairly straight forward job. I took a few photos so may write up on it later. I changed it because the ABS ring was knackered. The joint was in really good nick otherwise, with little wear and still with a VW boot on it, although it had gone a bit hard. The minute I went over about 20mph the ABS light went out and no fault code is stored. It was 45 minutes from start to finish and involved removing the wheel and 3 bolts! Quote
