Mauser Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Hi guys,My 2.3 has started to play up when trying to select drive, looks like the brake switch but not 1005 sure what to search for on the forums. Anyone have any info on fixing the problem most times its OK but every now and again it won't let me select drive, few presses later and its OK.Thanks in advanceSimon Quote
NikpV Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 had exactly the same problem - brake switch was ours - AA man wd40'ed it (car had been standing for a month before purchase) we had no Idea then - back in 2002, no trouble ever since - will replace brake switch at the first sign of trouble.
