I bet you his Italian address is a front - I am sure you will find the Western Union transfer will end up in Nigeria. I had a very similar deal once when I advertised a car for sale - It was all done via an agent in London (actually in Nigeria) They got so excited they called me on my mobile - and that's when it became obvious they were Nigerians (i already knew this as my Brother was then a Policeman working in NCIS and passed me to his colleagues on the Nigerian desk (Yes the MEt had a desk just for these 419'ers)

That is why the crooks love WU. No ID needed, just the transfer number and you can get the cash anywhere in the world!

 

OK it is great for sending money quickly for legit reasons, but that leaves the system wide open to using it for fraud and WU don't bother as they are making from it.

Another favourite for the nigerian scammers is mobiles phones ,soooooooo..........................

 

Explain that your brother ,,cousin ,aunt ,niece etc has a contact and can get a lot of phones cheap,can you use these as part payment as you could say you are swapping them for the car ,thus avoiding any tax

don't know if anyones seen it but a good site for this scambaiting is 419 eater there are some quality ones on there its surprising what the nigerian conmen will do to get there hands on a few grand.
