Dickie3068 Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Hi does any one out there know how to remove the armrests from the front seats of a 2002 alhambra. I need to do this as the console I have just got wont fit with the rests on Quote
Guest 3.5bullet Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 if they are the same arms as on the galaxy? when you look at them you should see a plastic cover on the pivot point on the arm? prize this off and buried in the depths of the hole you have now uncovered is a Torx bolt, undo this and the arm will fall off with a bit of help! strouf Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 The seats are ecxactly the same.By the way, I haven't been able to remove any of those plastic covers without braking them !! I removed all the armrests when I added the seventh seat to my new Ghia. Quote
gregers Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 as with any kind of plastic cover fillet,i think there designed to be a 1fit only, thus knackering them when you need to remove them,a designing quirk i think to make you keep going back to the dealers to buy replacements. Quote
Guest 3.5bullet Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 claw hammer does the job nicely  can be used also to re insert the covers afterwards :D Quote
